yeah it was a good episode
- Spoiler:
- and i love the way the did bane a lot of people said it reminded them of the comics oh and SideNote but from this episode i think i figured out who artemis is!! but its just a small guess right now but it makes some since lol
Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
- Spoiler:
- Nice! But take the Artemis thing to its own thread. No off-topic discussions.
And I heard there was a timestamp error in the episode. o_o That's something I consider a big error and I guess even great companies like DC Animation makes mistakes too.
Here's what Greg said about it.
Greg Weisman wrote:YOUNG JUSTICE TIMESTAMP HORROR
Yes, that's right. I said "horror". (For me, anyway.)
Okay, as some of you probably have ALREADY noticed, two of the timestamps on Episode #4 of YOUNG JUSTICE ("Drop-Zone) is incorrect.
Here's the CORRECT timeline:
The beginning of the Teaser correctly reads:
SANTA PRISCA
JUNE 19, 00:43 ECT
The beginning of Act One SHOULD read:
CARIBBEAN SEA
JULY 22, 20:08 ECT
And the tag at the end of the episode SHOULD read:
MOUNT JUSTICE
JULY 23, 10:01 EDT
We are fully aware that to some of our more serious-minded fans, these are huge errors. All I can say is that there's no possible way it's as traumatizing to you guys as it is to us.
I'm seriously not at all sure how this happened. We did review the timestamps, and they were correct, but obviously at some point during the process of post-production they were changed and nobody noticed it. We are ATTEMPTING to see if we can get them fixed for future airings, but it is clear there's no possible way to get it fixed in time for Sunday's airing. And I'm not sure if it's financially feasible to fix at all. But we will try. And in any case, we are instituting measures to make sure this never happens again on any future episodes. (Please, God.)
I am ... ugh... just going nuts over this.
You have the sincere apologies of everyone on the Young Justice production crew.
Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
I totally missed the episode cause my dad made me go to a conference, and I went all over the place today and I finally got my internet back and I have no idea what the hell is going on and I'm totally not opening anymore of those spoilers and I'm not reading any of these posts cause the still spoil things for me but Mammoth looks more like Blockbuster.
EDIT: That is totally Blockbuster.
Taken from Batgirl: Year One

Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
Awesome episode! Glad to see there was actually some reasoning behind
And the big reveal that it is not Blockbuster but really
It was also very awesome to see Bane again! This episode just flat out rocks!
- Spoiler:
- Aqualad being the leader. I liked how Robin was initially the one who tried to lead but just wasn't ready yet.
And the big reveal that it is not Blockbuster but really
- Spoiler:
- Some punk on a mixture of Venom and the Blockbuster serum! Holy Crap!
It was also very awesome to see Bane again! This episode just flat out rocks!
Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
Whooh. Creepy. o_o I should be able to watch it by Tuesday - I didn't have much internet left yesterday.
Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
Finally saw the episode today well, last night at 3 in the morning but well that still counts..
Loved it, but not sure about Bane still. That "mask" whatever thingy hit me the wrong way.

Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
It comes on at 8:00 Eastern Time, I set an alarm so I can watch it.. but yet again I cannot watch it because of Church. Oh the irony. I miss it the first time because of Church and the next time because of Church.
- Spoiler:
- Blockbuster AND Venom serum mix sounds like Bane with stupid powers.

Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
- Spoiler:
- Not when a random punk on that stuff beats Bane to a pulp in about under a minute.

- I'm pretty darn positive that that punk is Mammoth. xDD After all, Kobra called the red-headed girl Shimmer, which in the comics is Mammoth's sister. I wonder if we'll see the Fearsome Five!! I would love to see how this show animates Gizmo Jinx and Psimon. Jinx would look so cool... x333 (she wouldn't look like the TT version I don't think. I wonder which Gizmo they would use... old or new? O__o

Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
Err, you know guys, since this IS an episode discussion thread, I don't think there's a need to use the spoiler tags. We ARE discussing about things in the episode, when people look, it's at their own risk.
...Okay so the real reason is I can't always open it using my phone so please stop using it lolkbyethx. X]
So wait Mammoth was once a skinny guy? o_o
And yeah, a Fearsome Five in this would be so awesome. Me likey the episode, just the Megan catchphrase part is still bugging me. And it was so true - Robin is born a leader. They really should put him in that position sheesh. lol. And is it just me or is Superboy kind of lacking dialog there? ._.

XD
Okay!! I'll stop with the spoilers. xD
I guess he was skinny once....I never knew him before he was Mammoth up until now so I don't really know. xD
Yeah, I am at least happy that Robin will be the leader someday and that Aqualad can see that. Of course watching the episode it really shows how Robin wouldn't work out as leader for now, without any disrespect to the character, which I thought was nice.
Really? I actually liked Superboy in this episode, a lot. His dialogue and his attitude is different from the always angry persona he had from the previous episodes, making him for me both more likeable and closer to the way he acted in the old YJ comics. Cool, confident, cocky. xD

Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
Hmm, yes, Superboy was better than the previous episodes. And yeah it was nice how they respect Robin and make Aqualad leader at the same time. Makes me thinking - Aqualad said "someday", which means the show is giving hope for the fans about that. They'd never give hope for something that's never going to happen, right? And I heard someone's going to, eventually, die in this series. So, maybe...?
No offense to all Aqualad fans out there. I love him as much as you do. Trust me. X]

xD
I actually thought of that a while back and Kaldur definitely seems like the noble type who would sacrifice himself for the good of the team/world. Perhaps he could be the one killed off...
Of course, you have to wonder, since his Aqualad was created by Greg Wiesman himself, would he really kill off his "baby"? Hmm... *ponders*

Re: Episode 4: Drop Zone
Point taken :b
Still, I would say that if they're going to kill off one of the main cast then according to the Sorting Algorithm of Morality! I'd say that Aqualad probably has the second highest chances of dying. Right next to Superboy.

RIGHT. I can't watch the trailer now. Internet quota is limited. Guess I'll have to keep it a surprise. And Bane looks okay. But are you sure that's Mammoth? ._. Because Mammoth's the second person he reminded me to. THIS was the first one, though I don't know who the hell he is, he was on "Kids Stuff" episode on JLU:
lol I guess I had my JLU mindset mode on. X]
That's actually Blockbuster from the JLU show.

Yup, I just found that out. I don't have that much knowledge of DC Characters compared to some others. X] Welcome to the forums, by the way! You can post a new topic to introduce yourself in the Newbie Area.
