Episode 9: Bereft

Plot: The team discovers that they have forgotten the last six months of their lives, including each other and a final fateful mission in Bialya. The team turns to Miss Martian to recover their memories, before it is too late for Superboy.

My Review: Now one of my favorite episodes! A lot of strong hints to Artemis and KF. They are so gonna date! Superboy is becoming more open and affectionate with Miss M, which was great to see I loved every bit of the action in this episode. Especially the telepathic battle betwee Miss M and "Simen Says". Overall, great episode that is sure to set up future storylines.

Currently my favorite episode.

Shirtless Superboy - talk about HAAAAAAWT.
Psimon was awesome. I love his mental fight with Ms. Martian, and his line "By all means, kick my psychic butt" kept me grinning until the end of the episode.
Did I mention the hawt shirtless Superboy?
KF/Artie and SB/MM. o___o I need uh... *flips through RobStar and BMWW files in laptop* Yes. That's what I need.
In 99% of the episode, Superboy was shirtless. Oops sorry, I mentioned that. X]
We see more hints of Artemis most likely being a Hawkgirl-in-Justice-League kind of character.
No Aqualad action. D: Just when I started to like him even more.

The SB/MM we-can-do-this-together moment remind me of the RobStar moment in TT episode "Stranded", when they were about to jump down the cliff. That was in season 4. This is episode 9, and they were

The Light is partnered with Darkseid?! That sphere is going to be evil in someway, or maybe Krypto is going to be a Hunger Dog rather than a Kryptonian. But seriously, this means that people like Kalibak and DeSaad and most certainly Darkseid are going to appear, if Young Justice did the same with villains as it did with heroes I would be upset, but Young Justice does well with villains so I am enthusiastic about this.

Ok, know that I've gotten that out of my system, down to the real matter, I know who one member of The Light is. I'm 99.99% postive.

I love how the thing rolled up when the were about to kiss, "Can I keep It?" That cracked me up for the rest of the episode along with "Yes, kick my psyhic butt". Did anyone else hear Aqualad say 'Tula'? Poor dude doesn't even know she dumped him. I now definatly agree Megan and Superboy, then Artemis and Kid Flash, I support them all the way.

I only got to watch half of this episode the first time, and so I browsed through this to see what I could find from the first half of it. Well, yesterday I watched the whole thing again, and all I could think when Superboy ripped off his shirt was "Somewhere Ria is smiling." And when he yelled or whatever it was he did, for a second I thought he was screaming "Riaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" I laughed.

ANYWAY.

I liked the exchange "Kick his butt." "Yes. Kick my psychic butt."
I couldn't exactly figure out how old Simon was supposed to be. (Is that how you spell his name??)

No, that's one of the creatures in Cadmus who was with Superboy when he was in the tube thingy. -___-

are you sure because i just rewatched the first 2 episodes and it looks nothing like any of them (Besides being the same color) you can see all six of them side by side in the first episode when robin is hacking the system before the fight scene with gaurdian and there are only six types of G-Gnomes

Hmm...still, It would be unlikely is Superboy found out/saw that Megan was a White Martian in the Cave...

So, we find out that Kid has a "cupboard" in his glove that has enough food to keep him going for 24 hours. Must be some sort of high-calorie energy bar, or possibly some chocolate.

We also learned something interesting about Artemis. She's possibly some sort of assassin, and has daddy issues. Asian mom + blond daughter is a little odd, so she might be adopted or a stepdaughter. Of course, it's also entirely possible she is the mother's biological child.

Superboy and M'gann are inching closer to a relationship, which is awesome. I will miss Kid Flash hitting on her all the time, though, as evidenced by my feelings this episode.

Artemis and Kid Flash are shown to be able to tolerate each other, meaning that about the only reason they don't like each other is only the way they met.

I definitely like the team dynamics that they already have, and I wish they wouldn't mess with it so much. (Splitting them up, making them forget, etc.)

As for the White Martian/G-nome debate, I have no idea what a White Martian is. But, if we saw this creature in her mind, it wouldn't mean she was one, it would mean she'd faced one. They were pretty good in this episode about keeping people's memories in people's points of view.

O_O You don't know what a White Martian is? If you have watched Justice League you MUST know. Episode Secret Origins. Check it. (...Those ARE White Martians, right.)

Her dad would have to be Sportsmaster. In the comics, he is. And, in the show, the two (Artemis and Sportsmaster) look a bit alike (hair color and eye color, I think).

True, but then again we must kindly remind ourselves that this is Earth 16. Producers can and will fck up if they wish to, but to please us they'll have to stick with the canon. ;b

i loved this episode, superboy focusing on the memories of megan the most was adorable. I don't actually like the KFXArtemis pairing, or Artemis in general, but it's pretty obvious they have a developing relationship. I'm getting more and more of a terra-from-teen-titans vibe from her this episode 2, you know, with the whole blonde love interest of the funny guy of the team who is most probably a bad guy aspect, but at the moment thats just my speculation.
and as always, in this episode everything that came out of robin's mouth had me in stitches XD
