Superboy The Boy Of Steel

ok superboy is my second favorite character right after robin... so even if theres not a lot to go on yet i want to hear your thoughts on him so far?

So far, he was okay. I still can't say much about him though. Need to see more of him. Hope it turns out good!

yeah so far i would say he has a huge anger problem but at the same time a soft and unsure side and its not hard to tell that most likely he will be the one to rush off and do things on his own and maybe ruin some plans idk yet but it sure seems that way but i sure hope his character lives up to my and others expectations because i know a lot of fans have been waiting for him to be animated for a long time

I don't know, it seems like Aqualad might be able to control somewhat better than the others. Yeah, he has anger issues, but his character bio says he's 'brooding and shy' so that should be interesting *rolls eyes* and him and Miss Martian, we could make a whole seperate thread for that XD

I don't know much about him in the comics, so if anyone reads the Teen Titans comic, do tell us, how would you compare this version to the comic version?

Well, the show hasn't progressed all that much so I can't really say there's much of a difference, yet...

SUPERBOY!!!

Actually the four characters that has been introduced and explored I like them all. There really is little not to like about Robin, Aqualad, Kidflash, and of course, Superboy.

In the Teen Titan comics I've read, all two of them, Superboy seems more... gentle, and friendly. For the show though, it seems all TV series have the 'bad mood' charater who normally end up showing a soft side. From that, all I can say is that I'm pumped to see him in more episodes.

Yes, if I recall correctly, he's pretty light-hearted compared to his tv counterpart. In the beginning he was also kind of cocky, just enough though to make him a fun character. )

Ah, I see. Well let's hope they bring out the best of him.

Just a quick question: Teen Titan comic Superboy, or bad temper YJ, who's your favorite?

So far, comic Superboy is my favourite. I don't mind this version though, it's just different and it does make sense for this type of show. I just think of the old YJ comic version of him and their are a lot of funny moments that wouldn't happen here in the show because of his different demeanor.

Anyway, both different and while I like the both of them, however I currently prefer comic!Kon.

Now that I know, definitely the comic version.

I like the television version better. Theres just so much a writers can do with a character like that. Like we saw when he asked Superman to help him, he is clearly lost with his powers and is afraid of what he is. The arrogance is just the icing on the cake for writers. There is just SO much I could do with him...I'm going to grave a paper and a pen. YJ fanfiction lightbulb

After the last episode, "Schooled" my love for this version of the character sky-rocketed. I like how in-depth we got to see his emotions. He's a lot like his comic counter-part, though at a later stage in his "life". It makes me wonder if Luthor will be brought into the equation.

Of course Luthor will. It would make for great character interactions, and test their strenght as a team in the 2/3 season. It would be stupid to bring it up is the 1st season though.

Really? It could be hinted at maybe. But if Luthor did come in it could answer the "who's going to die?" question.

i know i fell in love with all these character ill be sad when one of them dies but then again this show is suppose to get 2 more members after artemis so who knows could be one of them..
