Re: Robin The Boy Wonder
The Batman doesn't count because that show is possibly the most inaccurate depiction of Batman ever. Dick Grayson's eyes has always been blue, ever since he was created.ShamarDJ wrote:Mercy wrote:Isn't this a given o_o?ShamarDJ wrote:just a small spoiler

Also whenever Batman fought Bane, it was always brains over bronze, but in The Batman what does he do? Gets Lucius Fox to make him a giant robot to beat him up.

Haha, what about the Riddler? C'mon really? That Riddler looks disgusting, and Riddler is my favorite Batman villain ever. And Clayface looks friggin ugly too.. doesn't resemble any Clayface I've ever seen. He looks like a ghost..ShamarDJ wrote:Mercy wrote:The Batman doesn't count because that show is possibly the most inaccurate depiction of Batman ever. That's what I said but then Shamar said that they were green in The Batman, which is a terrible depiction of Batman to begin with DX

Re: Robin The Boy Wonder
Yes and there were five seasons to be exact. All of which I own on dvd btw, srry i just like to brag about that stuff
I grew up with 'The Batman'. I never saw BTAS or STAS and JLU just kind of confused me as a kid. I really didn't care about continuity or how they changed the characters. The fight scenes were awesome, the plot was enough to hook me as a kid and by the fourth season it had turned into a really awesome show. And Batgirl played by Danielle Judovits doesn't hurt either.

Re: Robin The Boy Wonder
I liked all the Robins I guess...I didn't read many comics with Dick Grayson as Robin, for me Nightwing was ONCE Robin, but the Robin parading around was Tim Drake. Of course, now our Robin is Damien Wayne and Timmy is Red Robin. x33 So yeah...Can't pick a favourite, But I like all Depictions of animated Dick who is almost always the "chosen one" (aside from TNBA) So I guess Grayson's tied with Drake as fav.
Out of all the versions of Dick we've got so far, I think I might like this one most...I'm still waiting for some darker Grayson-centered episode though, I want to see him mature and grow a little bit, before I claim him as my favourite. But otherwise, I love him in this show.

LOVEHIMLOVEHIMLOVEHIM
He is frighteningly attractive for for a thirteen year old T.T
his laugh, an original aspect that doesnt come from the comics? BEST IDEA EVER.
He's much more playful than TT's Grayson, and i really like that, since although that grayson had his funny moments, he was too stereotypically serious-team-leader-ish.
I love his interactions with Kid Flash, they have a great buddy chemistry and you really feel that theyre friends. when i watch them, i dont feel like im watching two heroes being friendly to one another out of obligation, i really feel like im watching two typical teens who are best friends and like to rip on eachother and arent afraid to punch the other if they feel like it XD
Oh, and even though we've only seen a few scenes of them together, i love his father-son relationship with batman. in previous cartoons, movies and liveaction tv shows that i have seen they were always respectful of one another, but they never really came off as family. Bruce never officially adopted dick as his son since dick didn't want to feel like he was replacing his biological father, but their relationship was supposed to be that of a father and son, and they really give off a family vibe in this incarnation, which i just love. Dick's relationships with his friends and with batman feel much more natural.
So, of all the robins i have seen, this is bar far my favourite.
Also, epic costume. The decision to get rid of the green was a good one.
