Episode 5: Schooled

It was mine too!! x3 Maiko and Sukka are my favorite couples so that was also a bonus in the episode. ^_^

Good points. He really is trying hard to be somebody that Superman will come around to acknowledging. Anyway, you're right, it was really powerful. I can't wait to get more in-depth with some of the other characters as well though, right now Superboy's character is the most detailed and really the only one we've got to look at. Though we did have a more Miss Martian centered episode, it wasn't on quite the same level as this one. xD

Yeah-her episode was just exploiting her naive alien twit ness.

I also believed that Manhunter checking on Megan struck a nerve for Superboy, showing that others have mentors that care for them when Superman just dumps him on Batman and RedTornadno.

Also, Green Arrow should reconise the Arrow, after all it does belong to his niece.

I take it you don't like Miss Martian?

Also with Batmans' "Good Guess, Robin."

What if his niece operates secretly? What if he doesn't know of her identity as Artemis. It doesn't look like she's his sidekick right now so maybe he hasn't heard of her vigilantism.

lol not every ten minutes but just once a episode is cool like they did in drop zone

Maybe not once an episode, but I don't mind the catch phrase. I think the reason we didn't see it in schooled is because we really didn't see much of Megan herself.

I missed the catchphrase in "Schooled". I was like, 'Come on Megan! Tick the fans off some more!...please?' :b Personally, I don't have a problem with it. It's like with the thing in the Fantastic Four, horrible show but I didn't have a problem with the Thing's catchphrase. Everytime he said it, it just meant he was going into action. Same with guys like Optimus Prime, Hulk, Thor tons of other guys.

The catch phrase drives me crazy. Come on-can you try not to make her anymore the the annoying cheerleadertype alien twit she already is?

I still don't think it's that bad. The only time it really bugged me is the scene in the cavern, but as I've already stated elsewhere, that whole scene was an awkward moment.

XD Wow I've never seen the Fantastic Four cartoon. O_O I love Ben Grimm and his catchphrases in the comics, both he and Johnny Storm are what made the Fantastic Four comics great. Ahh, fond memories...

Sorry, I have a major problem with the 'cheerleader' preppy aditude. Gives me a head ach. Besides, being a writer, I would NOT pair up Superboy and Miss Martain. Their aditudes could cancel each other out and it would make the other seem kindof neutral, BUT IT IS NOT A PAIRING I RECOMEND!

I've seen this "type" of pairing before, in several different shows/stories so it really doesn't bother me at all. Superboy isn't always angry, and he seems to 'behave' himself a bit better now in front of his teammates, including Miss Martian. He is, right now, the darkness and she is the light. She has a general interest in him and he can actually smile with her around. I watch and I don't see the idea of it being too impractical, It makes for an interesting on-screen couple, though in real life, the practicality of the couple is seemingly less.

Exactly, and I do quote that they are making this a realistic superhero show.

Alien twit...? Hey I like Ms. Martian! Am I the only member on this forum who really likes her? The whole catchphrase has really died down and it isn't used as often and even if she does go "Hello Megan?" it doesn't really bother me anymore. DC has a point. Catchphrases have to be done right, use it ever so often, maybe once an episode, if it's designed right, people will cheer it on ever time the character uses it. When my friends were watching the first Fantastic Four movie they all got excited when the Thing said "It's Clobberin' Time!" When Hulk goes "Hulk Smash!" you gotta love his improper use of grammar and how badly the gamma radiation affects his thought process, it's like the only two words he knows. [Though now he can talk and converse.. he actually refused a cigarette from Wolverine when he offered. Said "No thanks, I don't smoke."]

And Beast Boy and Raven go together well. Raven is a dark, creepy, and gothic while Beast Boy is cheerful, shooting for smiles, and goofy in all ways the word entitles.

Point being; opposites attract. If you met someone who is exactly like you you hate their guts, why? Cause you're too much alike! You want something different! Plus they show how much of an ass you really are. Go for Superboy and Ms. Martian.

I adore the ever lovin' blue-eyed Thing's many catchprhases, they make him...HIM! You and your friend are right.
